Fifth Class took a trip to to the Lexicon Library in Dun Laoghaire, where they met members of Astronomy Ireland who gave them a most interesting talk. They learned the difference between planets, stars, meteors etc. and got an opportunity to look at Dublin Bay through a variety of powerful telescopes. It was a very interesting and informative outing and the children really benefitted from it.
