Scoil Mhuire’s Got Talent!

On Tuesday 20th of June there was great excitement as the whole school gathered for the final of Scoil Mhuire’s Got Talent in the PE hall.  In the weeks before, 124 acts were auditioned, with one act coming through to represent each class from Junior Infants to 6th.  There were 14 acts selected and one “Wild Card” pick.

For the final we had a panel of five judges, representing different aspects of our school community.  There was a wide variety of acts including dancing, singing, majorettes and some hilarious jokes from Junior Infants!

But our overall winner, with a unique act was Paige from 5th class who wrote and performed his puppet show “The Cop and The Knight”.   The runners up were Michelle singing and playing her ukelele and Zofia performing her own version of ballet.  Every one enjoyed themselves and well done to all the finalists for putting on a fantastic show.
