We were extremely lucky to chosen by Children’s Books Ireland to be give a Book Gift of a “Free To Be Me” little library to add to our school library collect. We were one of only 7 schools in Ireland to be chosen for this amazing prize of over 125 books celebrating diversity and inclusions, allowing our all our children to see themselves represented in books and stories.
Thank you to the wonderful staff from Children’s Books Ireland for giving a lovely day when they came out and lauched our new books into the library Senior Infants and Mr McDonagh’s 5th Class. And the great news the next part of the Gift will be that all the children in the school will receive a book of their own to take home and keep.
